Kokan Bazar Ukda Tandul (Par Boiled Rice) is soaked, steamed, and dried within the inedible outer husk, turning the rice grain slightly pale yellow. Ukda Rice has a unique flavour and texture once it has been organically treated to preserve its natural properties. Kokan Bazar Ukda Tandul is treated only in pure water and is sun soaked for a naturally fluffy feel to the grain.
